Yooohh!This week has been so straneous to the extent that I even felt like I was having a breakdown,from having early mornings and late nights everyday…HECTIC…As if that was not enough I had to go through 4 tests this week alone for 4 consecutive days in pursuit of this ‘Degree’.
Anyway so yesterday morning I happen to just think about how I can take off all this strain now that it’s a weekend and I can rest a bit. I don’t know how I ended up thinking of Ice Tea but I did.We all know how Tea is so refreshing (well that’s why our folks probably like it).
With summer upon us it’s quite clear with me that I won’t be having hot beverages for quite some time so making ice tea was the way out.So after making it I shared on my instagram story with a poll for recipe where 100% of my followers who voted said yes I should share the recipe…On that note
Check out how I made it;👇🏾
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
3 tea bags
Fruit(s) of your choice (optional)
1.Boil water and pour 2 cups of boiling water into a measuring jug
3. Remove the tea bags and pour the mixture into a serving jug.Add sugar(optional) for flavor depending on your sweet tooth level…I used 8 spoons…Pour 2 cups of cold water to the above and let it chill in the refrigerator for 2-3hours
You can have this plain or as a punch with your favorite fruits,next time I’ll try it with an assortment of tropical fruits.
PS: This Drink is the best when naturally extra cold
